Assignment 4: Ideals and concepts
Overall comments: Beauty within both
I have has several complications and minor set backs regarding this assignment, for good reason…I feel as if I have so many ideas I want to portray but my abilities may be holding me back. For example, In the beginning, I really wanted to take a portrait of an animal in nature and contrast it with a human portrait in nature. Although I still love this idea, I feel like this is very hard to convey with this type of camera. I was having a hard time actually taking a photo of animal due to them constantly moving, alongside the lovely Lethbridge wind… So i decided to take a different route.
The land within us:
The beauty of nature, such like the curves of hills, can also reflect the beauty of the human body. Both have smooth shapes and unique forms that are amazing in their own way. Just as rolling hills have smooth lines and subtle contours that captivate the eye, the human form too has graceful shapes that tell stories of strength, softness, and resilience. However, while we often admire the beauty of landscapes, we tend to overlook the beauty of our own bodies. Just like the hills, our bodies have their own special design that deserves appreciation.
